Subject: “To the Glory of the Father.”

Thought Adjuster: “How does one live a life that is a revelation to the glory of the Father? It would make sense to first clarify what we mean by the expression ‘to the glory of the Father’. The essence of the Father is love and when this love is manifested by the personality of God it turns into goodness. Therefore, the glory of God is the triumph of goodness in all creation. To live for the glory of the Father is nothing but following His will in such a way that you become an agent of His goodness. In this way, others would be able to recognize in you and through your actions, the divine goodness that inspires you and they would discover the Father through you.
“You live a life of revelation of God when in all situations you attempt to behave as you imagine the Father would behave. Man can pretend to be better in some situations and often succumbs in the face of difficulties and challenges. But when a person puts her strenght on the Father and decides to emulate God, she will find the strength to overcome her material nature and can truly begin to act divinely within her finiteness.
“This is the reason why placing your trust in your physical strength or your mental capacity — things that are solely material — can be counter productive in situations where your strength is not enough or your intelligence can’t come up with solutions. Those who put their trust in their Father can transcend their limitations and accept by faith that, even those things that occur in the present and have no aparent solution, happen because somehow they will all result in a greater good for all involved. These mortals filled with faith can truly see a universe that works with a purpose and that obeys the laws of love. Sometimes, through faith, you can anticipate the future solution for the problems of the present.
“This is why a true and dynamic faith is the cause of a peace that is beyond all understanding, because those who learn to accept the implicit goodness that permeates all creation would know that in the end all is good and all happens for the greater glory of the Father.”

Teacher Ophelius: “Today, my dear friends and students on the path, on behalf of my colleagues, the Circle of Seven, and all the Mansonia Teachers, I would like to extend to you our sincere and heart-felt gratitude for participating with us in the Great Plan to bring your world back into the fold of Father’s Will — to bring Life and Light to this most unusual planet. Each one of you, as Agondonters, plays an important role in this effort, no matter how great or how small you think that effort is — all, as a combined chorus in the grand opus of cosmic progress, adds his or her voice to the variegation of faithful voices who knowingly holds the values of Truth, Beauty, Goodness, Compassion, Mercy, Forgiveness, and Love above the many discordant and confused voices of a world in contrast to these fruit-bearing values of Light. We thank you and hope that you will continue to grow with us and shine your light with even greater brilliance into the coming year.
“We are all so very blessed, whether you know it now, or realize it later as you look back on your journey having lived a life on one of the most challenging worlds of nativity there is in the universe. You have no idea how important this life on Urantia is for your ascendant careers or for the epic movements you shall some time participate in as you masterfully demonstrate the leadership and experience of a truly weighty soul full of love and mercy — a reflection of the Father’s image in time and space.
“Please take a moment and express your gratitude with us for the opportunity to grow your souls in the treasure-rich life of the cosmic school of ‘hard knocks.’ The most wonderful thing to consider is that no matter where you find yourself in life on Urantia, every opportunity to grow awaits you in the journey to perfection. If you feel you have been limited in your experience here in this life, please know that there are no limitations in the worlds to come — the universes were born for your exploration and discovery — every desire to serve and grow shall be extended unto you, yet the ‘foundation value’ of such a life on your world shall serve to be invaluable in your unique experiential journey home. The priceless treasure on Urantia is in the people — the relationships, the lessons of love. Take full advantage of the opportunity to reach out and touch another life and discover the Father’s countenance in the eyes of your siblings.
“We hear repeatedly from many souls here on mansonia how they regret not taking full advantage of the opportunities that were available to them while on the earth — that they wasted their time on petty material pursuits or allowed fear to seize them from making bold decisions that could have changed their life and enriched the souls of others. Many of these souls now work with us to assist in the rehabilitation of the earth in ways you cannot now comprehend. Always is there a way for you to serve and grow — whether here or hereafter. Blessed are you students on the path that know these things and can rejoice in the difficult lives you live that are so rich in the opportunities to grow! Machiventa: “I greet you, students and helpers together. Likewise, all those subscribed to the messages from the 11:11 Progress Group are now acknowledged by us. This is Machiventa, your Planetary Prince, greatly honored to have been allotted this important position by our Michael Son. Indeed, I say, a position rarely awarded a Melchizedek.
“Today we wish to answer the question, ‘Where does one apply to be accepted by a group of Midwayers?’ Indeed, what qualifies one to be a helper of the Midwayers in space-time? Is it a wish to be of use to one’s mortal kin, or is it ‘something pre-determined,’ the chances of whose eventuation can neither be enhanced nor denied?
“It is at this point you must take back your mind to see a young boy sitting on a grassy berm beside a canal, focusing on a painted cork that might ever so gently tell of a perch about to take a hook. See the man with his brand new shop-bought fishing rod some 30 or 40 paces away. See his busy little girl collecting the tall-stemmed daisies. She is sitting next to her daddy now, pulling the long white petals from the flower heads, saying: ‘He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me…” She might be unstoppable with hundreds more daisies in bloom.
“Some of the petals land on the grass. Some catch enough of the gentle breeze to drift onto the canal. Momentarily she stops, but then she starts all over again: ‘He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me.’ And the boy with the cheap bamboo rod watches her as he wonders if she will be loved or not be loved. God would know. God would know just when she will stop pulling petals from the flower heads, how many petals will drop onto the grass and how many will drift onto the water. God knows everything that is written in the book of eternity and the book of eternity contains everything.
“Just as that boy later learns that there is no such thing as forgetting (only the un-intended blocking of information), on that Spring day he learns that in eternity all is foreseen. Already it is known by your Thought Adjuster, your Spirit Self, the potential guarantee to your eternal life and how that life will evolve. Already it is clear to you that eternity contains all time and that God needs to be certain of how determined you are to progress throughout your life and doings.
“So here is your answer: Not the Midwayers, the Angels or (former-human) Celestial Teachers want to know if you would like to become a receiver of messages, a healer of some kind or an inspired writer. Oh, no. Where, how and with Whom you apply is obvious now. It is always in your heart, in your mind, with great reverence and determination to excel that you must apply to your Gift from God, your Thought Adjuster. If the blueprint of your life indicates that your project will last and go well, the Celestials will be appointed.
“Consider always that much work must go into your training, so it is important that positive results in service are foreseen. However, His will, not yours, must be done.

The Beloved: “The unblocking of the communication channel, of that which keeps you away from Me, is a definite part of succeeding on the road to self-mastery. It has everything to do with the trust and faith you cultivate, one step at a time.
When you are out of sorts, and your soul-rest is missing, truly, My child, there is only one thing for you to do, and that is to come into the Stillness and hand all your troubles to Me. I am the Calm of your soul and I make it so your heart sings again.
It is mandatory for you to live in present-centered awareness, and let bygones be bygones. All of these things have passed. However, if you allow irritations, resentments, and other negative feelings and emotions to rise up in you, understand that these are the effective channel blockers that will stand between Me and your soul-rest.
Yes, I know that I show you a huge responsibility here, but the fact remains that you are the only one who can control your thoughts and emotions. Therefore, self-mastery in everything is key to happiness. This is the reason why it is so extremely important that you do not carry yesterday’s burdens into the new day.
Instead, I am showing you the way to live as a happy positive and trusting faith-child of the Creator. Truly, now can you see that it is a better way to live when you learn to cultivate unconditional love and forgiveness toward self and others?
This is the path all spirit-born sons and daughters of God must follow.”

Subject: “Ignorance Is NOT Bliss.”

“But the greatest error of the teaching about the Scriptures is the doctrine of their being sealed books of mystery and wisdom which only the wise minds of the nation dare to interpret. The revelations of divine truth are not sealed except by human ignorance, bigotry, and narrow-minded intolerance. The light of the Scriptures is only dimmed by prejudice and darkened by superstition.” [UB, 159:4.9]
Thought Adjuster: “Ignorance does not contribute to bliss, as it is a state of deprivation of knowledge which often triggers fear of the unknown and a lack of self-confidence. Throughout the dark ages of evolution, the unsolved mysteries of the unknown have placed a great burden on men’s souls.
To make sense of inner and outer physical and metaphysical phenomena, overimaginative minds concocted belief systems and elaborated complex rituals for self-preservation that, for the utter lack thereof, were not based on scientific facts or philosophical truth and were easily espoused by fear-ridden ignorant flocks. Both suspicion and superstition played a part in these flawed interpretations that provided a temporary framework for the rudimentary understanding of these early eras.
It was a planetary-scale spiritual upgrade when the Spirit of Truth incarnated in the form of the human Jesus. His words, spoken with divine authority, cut like a sword through the amalgam of false beliefs to extract any figment of truth that Jesus expertly fleshed out for collective edification.
One of his recurrent injunctions was: “Ask and you shall receive.” The formulation of intelligent questions requires some reflection on the part of the inquirer. Each one of you deserves to operate within the truth of his being. Your top priority should be to figure out your purpose based on your personal assets and talents. Your next move should be to go after it — in this world and beyond.
Jesus was no exception. He conducted a similar approach, which led him to understand early on the huge scope of his responsibility. He regularly withdrew in the Stillness to commune with his divine Indweller in order to carefully map out each day so as not to waste his precious allotted time on earth. After his death, he went on breaking a heavenward trail for humankind to follow as they access plane after plane of existence. By following his reliable leadings in the here and now, you will be incrementally enlightened on a need-to-receive basis by his ever-accessible guiding light.”
