Subject: “Perplexing Moral Dilemma.”

Teacher Ophelius: “Today we would like to talk about decision making and how to ask for guidance at those times in your life when difficult decisions must be made to move you through some perplexing moral dilemma. It is not always clear to know what the Will of God is in all the complex situations that you may find yourself in, and so it takes time and dialog in prayer with your Heavenly Father to sort it all out. Be assured that there are councils on high that can and do work with you to point you in the direction that will bring about the greatest good for all in the situation you find yourself in. Be therefore patient and make your decision in the subtle discovery of those influences of peace that present themselves to you.
“Understand that not all decisions will appear to work in your favor in the short term, yet be willing to allow the providence of God to move in your life where it shall bring forth a greater benefit to your soul and to all those involved. It is better to wait and pray than to make a decision in haste.
“In those rare instances where you have stood in the shoes of both sides of an issue and you find no clear path, having applied all the experience and wisdom in your being, we suggest that you bring your case to the Father and ask that a High Council be assigned to deliberate on the issue at hand. If you choose this method of judicial summary, you must then bring before the council the facts of the matter and present them in a non-biased way, skewing it not to your emotional desires or prejudices, but be willing to reveal every detail no matter how difficult it is to look at. Start from the very beginning of the matter and walk through the entire history that led up to the impasse and include any relevant prehistory that may have influence on the case. Represent both sides with integrity and honesty and then state your intention for the outcome of the decision.
“Having stated your case, go in peace and wait for the opinion of the High Council to be made manifest in your life. The answer may come in a form you are not expecting, and in some cases the situation may change where you see a clear path and where you can be decisive and act with peace and integrity. Be ever mindful that these difficulties you face are put in your path as a way for you to overcome something that is preventing you from growing or as a way to demonstrate leadership and to show readiness in preparation for greater responsibilities.
“Go in peace and have faith in the divine process. The Father’s love is abundant and His justice is merciful and unerring. Those who bring their cares to Him shall find the peace that surpasses all understanding. Go now into your room and close the door – open the chambers of your heart and he shall abide therein.

Thought Adjuster: “Today there are a lot of people in this world who are working for the establishment of the Kingdom of Heaven. Few among them enjoy the fame and glory of being considered among ‘the great men and women of history’. However, those who work tirelessly, and their motivation does not lie in their being accepted by the masses, achieve great spiritual progress for themselves. Those who live the Will of the Father are contributing to the creation of the realities that His will desires to create.
“Some of you believe that you need to be in a position of greater influence in order to be able to guide others towards better goals. Let me tell you that the best way to appeal to the human soul is through the presence of the Thought Adjuster. Focus your intent directly on the hearts of those you wish to influence. Let your Thought Adjuster be the one that establishes contact with the divine presence in others, expressing your wishes with the highest measure of truth, beauty, and goodness. Every effort you make in this fashion will never be wasted. Remember the power of prayer, because through the circuit of the Father you can reach any creature in the universe, even if this connection may not be direct, or even conscious, for any of the parties involved. God is present inside you – in each and every one of you – and through His presence in you, you can reach any other personal being in existence.
“How do you think our Father works in this world? Does He show up at United Nations meetings to tell you what you need to do? The Father speaks directly to the hearts and the minds of His creatures. Then, it is up to them to decide what path they will take. In this world, you can likewise work in this fashion, with your love for your peers, and your desire to create a better world through prayer.
“All of you who work in your respective communities, and circles of influence, know that you are not impotent when the time comes to promote the changes you want to see in this world. Live the very change you wish to see, and project your love and your positive energy to those who lead you – the ones you have elected to express your collective decisions. Work with your hands, but remember that your prayers and your love can reach all the way to Paradise itself, and know that you have the support and the power of the Creator Father of all beings and things.”

Subject: “Our Near Endless Journey.”

Orion: “There is no such thing as total perfection on the time-space worlds, even in morontia life, or the angelic realm. Total perfection can only be found on Paradise and in part on the ‘constructed’ spheres. All other life beyond the center of all is at best sub-perfect. We, your friendly Life Carriers, are not perfect, but we intend to become perfected beings. In our work we always intend to help create human beings that will become as perfect as possible.
“It is often said that the journey is of more importance than the destination. And so it is for Life Carriers. Our hundreds and hundreds of journeys to and from the diverse planets is what we do for eons of time. We do the work for which we were created to eventually gain a Fragment of the Creator Father and join you all on Paradise in the far distant future. We are psychologically equipped to not grow impatient with our task, but to enjoy its extreme diversity.
“Does this answer your question?”
George: “It does, but there is always tomorrow and more tomorrows.”
Orion: “That answer is clearly indicative of our near endless journey (he is joking). In keeping with your journey towards perfection, you are given many masters to serve. You must take excellent care of your physical body with the right nutrition, adequate rest, and suitable reversion. As well, you may have others to care for. On top of all that it is expected of you that you take care of your emotional and spiritual requirements, the latter, at least, in a religious sense.
“In the decades to come you are, personally and as a group, going to become more aware of the wonderful nutrition and natural preventative medicines that are available on the continents. When you think of our work as instigators of new life all over your planet, you are very likely to think of the animal species to which you are more closely related, and overlook the untold man hours, years, eons we spent on cultivating the vegetation you require to survive.
“We look down in horror at the forms of medicines in pills and droughts you are meant to swallow in order to combat your illnesses. Indeed, anything you may require to heal is available in natural form. It is important for you to discover why certain diets in certain places tend for the people to become obese, and why certain diets in other places allow the population to remain slim, or report only few cases of heart attacks or dementia.”
“As the treatment of illnesses becomes more and more costly for larger and larger portions of the population, there will be a rush to discover more natural medicines. Make sure that you support these efforts. That is all from us for now. We leave you our love.”

Subject: “A Beam of Light.”

The Beloved One: “Thank you for following up on my prompt and listening to my still Voice in turn for what you just read in the book ‘The Guiding Light Within’. Reading in this gem each early morning always has a beneficial influence on you during the rest of your day. Today’s reading is an exhortation to remember the Light and reinforce your own little light to let it shine. Thereby it will become a healing fragrance on the planet. As celestials we do our best to encourage every citizen on this benighted planet to become the light-bearers they truly are, but whose lights are dimmed with stress and worries. If only they would take the time to make the connection with the Spark of Light from God within them, they would feel much encouraged for yet another day. They will simply awaken to the realization that they have a mighty Companion and Guide within, who will help guide them if only they would take the time to ask.
“There are so many great benefits to be derived from making an attempt to have an activated friendship with the God of their being. The simplest and most direct way is to start writing a letter to God. This only needs to be a few words, like a cry for help, or a prayer of thankfulness. Thereafter one needs to just wait in the sacred silence of one’s heart, and be attentive to perhaps a different feeling, or some inexpressible loving words. What will come does somewhat depend on the state of receptive willingness, and each attempt made will perhaps be different than before, as personal energy is always in a flux of change. This is a reliable method by which to remember that you have joined with a far greater Light which is waiting to nourish your little light within, and help it grow by feeding it. Truly, the results of individual efforts will be known in all glory in the life following this mortal existence, only because your faith in God was strong enough to open your side of the communication channel, and such an effort on the part of the human is always rewarded. Through daily practice it can only become stronger.
“Try it out and experience how it fits you personally as the first fruits will be a more peaceful feeling in heart, mind and soul, to increase over time, leading to a far more peaceful existence. This vibrational energy will prove to be extremely beneficial not only for the self, but also for the health and well-being of the planet. Celestials always take note of where and when the beams of your human lights are turned on and become stronger. It is God’s plan and purpose that this planet shall be filled with Light to His Glory. However, it is up to each man, woman and child to help accomplish this for their sake and eternal well-being.”

Subject: “Coping with the Mundane.”

Mathew: “Should you so wonder, I’m here only on a break, and to check on your health on behalf of Dr. Mendoza. It is not I, who will communicate with you and give you the lesson. She is with you right now.”
Urantia: “I am the Planetary Supreme, I am Urantia, I am Gaia, I am your Earth Mother. Everything that is physical about you is of Me – of this earth. Not too many of My children realize that they have three mothers, in fact. Of course they do acknowledge the mother that gave birth to them. Then there is Nebadonia the local Creator Mother who provides them with a mind. Here is something for you to contemplate; that a great deal of effort goes into creating one of you.
“Today I want to speak with you about coping with the mundane, the boring and troublesome, the tasks greatly disliked. Few on this world are so privileged as to be excused from the utterly routine. Boredom can lead to depression, to a lack of self esteem, and so I will give you a win-win situation for these circumstances. The secret to overcoming such boredom and low self-esteem is to dedicate these tasks to the Father, to Michael, Nebadonia, or, yes, to Me.
“In dedicating these dreary and routine tasks you must do them very well, and with excellence in mind, you will find these tasks going smoother even becoming enjoyable. You will find it relatively easy to get out of the mindset that you dislike such kind of work, because you will no longer be performing these tasks because you have to; you are now presenting the results to the Creator Beings that placed you on this world, and who wish to see your personal progress.
“Visualize yourself as a colored stone in a giant mosaic. You do not want to be a dull stone, but a bright and shiny one. Imagine yourself to be a chapter in a massive book. It must be interesting to read your chapter. See yourself as a bright colored thread in an endless bolt of cloth. It is not for you to go unnoticed as dull or gray when you can make a delightful improvement to the pattern. Consider yourself important enough to improve life’s outlook whenever you can.
“You see, my dear children, the routine of dedicating all your boring and mundane tasks to your spiritual Parentage, and by performing them extra well, you will become a happier person, proud of your achievements, peaceful in mind, open in spirit. Your progressive ways will reflect positively into the Morontia Realm, even more so into the Spirit World. Beyond earthly understanding, your seemingly meaningless tedious tasks can progress your world.
“Think of Me, and this lesson, each time you set about dealing with the mundane, and talk to Me, for I love you all. I am Urantia, your Earth Mother. Adieu.”
