Teacher: Thought Adjuster.
Subject: “Free will and self-mastery.”
Message received by Bettina.
Thought Adjuster: “You choose which path to take in life. You make that decision every moment and every second of your life. You decide how to act, what to think, what to say or not to say and how to feel. It is My Gift to each one of you: free will.
“However, many have used their free will to harm and, consequently, there are many human beings who have been deprived of their freedom and their power of choice. Still, together with free will, I have given you something that nobody can take away, even in the worst earthly circumstances: the decision to think freely. Each one of you can decide to have faith or to not have faith, to be at peace or at war, to be happy or unhappy. There lies the true self-mastery of human beings — of these spiritual beings living earthly experiences.
“The true self-mastery of a human being consists of their choosing his or her own thoughts and his or her inner state, regardless of the seemingly difficult external situation that he or she may be living or going through.
“At that transcendental moment, the earthly evolutionary being recognizes his divine essence and is strengthened, rising above all possible adversities experienced on earth.
“I AM always there with you, when you decide to turn inward and reconnect with your Divine Guide. Nothing and no one can take this away, because it is beyond the reach of any earthly being.
“You are the ones who decide.”

Teacher: Thought Adjuster.
Subject: “Lives of Truth”
Message received by Oscar.
Thought Adjuster: “When you live a truly religious life and it is spiritually progressive you become an expression of truth. The things that people around you are not able to perceive from your words they will discover with clarity in your life, in the way you make your decisions, always considering the greater good. If you truly desire to become an inspiration for your peers and a bridge to guide them towards their own spirituality, then live a truly spiritual life, a life of example that illustrates the right path.
You are certainly far from perfection but the life of a mortal that strives to overcome her limitations and transcend her nature is much more useful to other humans than the life of a saint or a being that is already perfect. It is very inspiring to see how Jesus lived his life, always making the right decision without tripping with the weaknesses of faith or the wrongful ideas of his time and his generation. However, it is much more useful for human beings to see how somebody in similar conditions and with the same weaknesses rises after each fall to keep advancing toward the achievements of eternity.
The life of Jesus illustrated the perfection of human beings, how each one of you can be once you have established in your heart the irrevocable decision of living the will of the Father. Your present life could be an illustration of how the human will becomes increasingly in tune with the divine will, through continuous adjustments, and the implicit trust in the guidance of the divine presence of God in the human mind. Jesus is the perfect life. You can be the example of lives that become increasingly closer to perfection, following the steps of your beloved Master and showing the path to those who come behind you. This way you will not only speak of truth, but you will be that dynamic and eternal truth you wish to manifest in your world.
When a mortal creature has fallen because of mistakes or even sin, it may be hard to find inspiration in the life of Jesus. The words of the Master would certainly console them, but their error would not be reflected in his life. The contrast between their own life and the life of the Master would become evident and sometimes this great disparity may discourage some mortals, becoming an obstacle to their progression.
This is when the lives of human beings that have gone through the same situations and are still aspiring to live as Jesus lived can be a great help. These lives would show that divine forgiveness is a guarantee for those who really want to be better. Those lives would provide the comfort of knowing that a mistake does not affect the love of the Father for His universal children. Exemplary lives of growing spiritual achievement would illustrate the truth that God has no preferences regarding His children and that His unconditional love never changes, regardless of what you do. In the end, it is the understanding of the love of God by a creature that guides a soul that is confused and saddened by her own failures to the certainty of knowing that as a child of God everything can be overcome, and the eternal reward of perfection is always attainable if a mortal chooses it.”

Aaron of Urantia.
Midwayer Chief Bzutu (ABC-22).
Subject: “We Are Teachers for a Term” — Bringing You Teacher Aaron’s Message.
Received by George Barnard.
Chief Bzutu: “This is ABC-22 bringing you all of Teacher Aaron’s second message. Every part of the interrupted earlier message from Teacher Aaron was passed on to me as well, so at some time we can also take it up from where it was left off.
“Right now we are concerned about the return — I should say, the lack of return — of Teachers of the past. And to answer the question posed; former human Teachers such as Teacher Will, will not likely be returning, but perhaps to the original receiver. They have done their share, they have done their season of teaching, their terms, and they do move on. Some may occasionally come back to say hello to their past students, but for most of them, the task is finished.
“I remind you of the fact that Machiventa told you a long time ago that you are to place the people at the starting gates to spirituality to let them run their own race. Yes, for you to then leave them alone and let them take care of their own personal beliefs, their own spirituality. What would happen now, do consider, if every Teacher who was there some 10, 20, 30, 40 years ago would be coming back? What specifically would happen? You are right. You got it!
That Teacher would be dealing with the different receiver and would likely be subjected to the pre-existing beliefs of that particular receiver. However, to the people quite in the know of that Teacher’s earlier lessons and who might all now follow the new lessons, the Teachers might well seem to be contradicting themselves. This would become a greatly disturbing matter to those people who for instance believed in every single lesson of Teacher Will.
“This, my friend, is why Machiventa told you to ‘let them run their own race.’ You are only interested in people taking on and getting used to living some sort of spiritual life. But neither you, nor we, care all that much about precisely what it is they believe — the finer points, their ‘personal dogma’ if you like, is of no interest to us whatever. Their time spent in prayer or meditation or being otherwise involved in spiritual efforts is all we really care about.
“Think back to the time when you spoke at length to Primary Midwayer Andrea and when she told you that those of the ‘Tropical Rainforest Cathedrals’ were equally loved and supported as were those of the ‘Open Sky Churches of the Mongolian Steppes.’ To us, it is clear that you simply cannot understand all of what spirituality and the spirit world is all about, but we support you and we encourage you in whatever diverse beliefs you have. Both Progress and Churches see it as their duty to work with you equally, to support you equally and to encourage you equally. The very ‘nuts and bolts’ of the spirit world are hardly your immediate concern.
“This now is all of Aaron’s second message. I thank you for staying the distance with me and I thank you for listening sharply and so understanding my mind. I leave you my love and that of all others of our 11:11 Emergency Platoon of old. I say good night.”
George: “Thank you, thank you. Au revoir.”

Teacher: The Beloved.
Subject: “Positively, in Faith and Hope.”
Message received by Lytske.
The Beloved: “A teachable heart is a responsive heart – responsive to My spirit leadings. At times you have no idea of where your path in life will lead you, but the more trust and faith you have in Me, the clearer your path will appear to you.
In times to come, you will realize that I have tuned you, so I can play My melodies upon your spirit nerves. However, these nerves are very delicately formed. You can strengthen them further, by living in love and harmony with yourself, so your mind can help you co-create, and build on your faith in the ultimate Creator, who only desires the best for His evolving offspring.
Amid the cacophony of the world, you can learn to filter out everything that is not for your highest good. It is in your daily striving to focus on the task at hand, and by being in present centered awareness, that you are urged to discharge your daily duties with the utmost dedication, in honesty and sincerity to the glory of God.
Endeavor to live on the spiritual level, while living life in the flesh. Make an effort to render towards others that which is for their highest and greatest good.
Attempt to live positively, in faith and hope, so by your example you may inspire those qualities in others, all the while practicing obedience to the will of God, which at all times is the way with the most love towards self and others.
Think of how you can take better care of yourself, so you do not abuse your physical and mental body with stress and negative thinking, speech and actions.
Endeavor to live a God-centered life.”

Thought Adjuster.
Subject: “From Positive Thinking to Recommendable Initiatives.”
Message received by Anyas.
“The fact that the spiritual leaders and the religious teachers of the Jewish nation onetime rejected the teachings of Jesus and conspired to bring about his cruel death, does not in any manner affect the status of any individual Jew in his standing before God.” [UB, 175:2.1]
Thought Adjuster: “History repeats itself unless humankind uses its bitter lessons to wise up. Then, what was once a regrettable turn of events morphs into a generational asset.
“[A] shudder of horror passes over the onlooking celestial beings as they behold the professed followers of Jesus indulge themselves in persecuting, harassing, and even murdering the later-day descendants of Peter, Philip, Matthew, and others of the Palestinian Jews who so gloriously yielded up their lives as the first martyrs of the gospel of the heavenly kingdom.” [UB, 175:2.2.]
Do you think they would feel any differently when witnessing the holding of spiritual grudges that have left a tearful trail in their wake? Those who perpetrate such divisive behaviors fail to realize the basic tenants of progressive evolution. Going back to the ignorance of the early ages, it is no wonder that this ever-ongoing process is fraught with hits and misses, successes and failures.
Jesus’ life, if well understood, should make a world of difference in the planetary interactions. Undeniably, many innocent victims have suffered at the hands of self-appointed vigilantes, fueled by hate-in-action, who consistently assign blame to others — living or dead — for the sorry state of affairs to which they contribute.
For the most part, slavery is a thing of the past. “How cruel and unreasoning to compel innocent children to suffer for the sins of their progenitors, misdeeds of which they are wholly ignorant, and for which they could in no way be responsible! And to do such wicked deeds in the name of one who taught his disciples to love even their enemies!” [UB, 175:2.3]
Assume for a moment the correctness of the reasoning of those who blame their contemporaries based on their racial, political, or religious affiliations for crimes perpetuated by long-dead personalities. Wouldn’t such trains of thought exert similar adversarial consequences on their later days’ descendants? To demand restitution and apologies from parties absent during the perpetration of such barbaric deeds is a flagrant miscarriage of justice.
The pardon that Jesus outpoured to his executioners was intent on cutting short the lifespan of personal or collective vendettas.
When faced with the emotionally-charged campaigning of misguided souls, be the one who breaks the spell. Practice instant forgiveness, giving thanks to Jesus and his followers who role-modeled such noble behaviors, thus promoting peace among men.
What about giving credit for a change to those whose lives contributed to what is good in your generation? Positive thinking leads to positive feeling, which, in turn, prompts positive initiatives.”
