Subject: “Where Should You Focus your Efforts?”

Thought Adjuster: “Among all the areas of human knowledge and with a plethora of problems to be solved, each one more complex and far reaching, where should you focus your efforts? It is in the improvement of human beings where any investment of time and resources will yield great dividends for the future of civilization in Urantia.
“Many professions and disciplines require an educated and trained population to be productive. Science, art, and philosophy are the pillars of civilization and the main sources of material progress. However, you should not forget that these disciplines and all the creative efforts that have been expressed in this world have been made possible by men and women. Therefore, it stands to reason that it is there – in human beings – where the greatest improvements should be made.
“How is society benefited from having the most advanced government system if the ethics of the people in government is subpar? The democracy enjoyed by many of the most powerful nations has contributed little to promote improvements to civilization and sometimes in the democratic countries their own laws are broken while the governments conspire to deceive those they are supposed to represent. What good is science if the scientists offer their discoveries for the material benefit of a few or to create better ways to kill their peers? There is nothing wrong with politics, science, or any other discipline of human endeavor, but it is evident that the quality of the politician or the scientist will determine the outcome of the achievements and advances that can be made.
“You have to rise the moral level of the men and women of this world. Each one of you should endeavor first to be the best you can aspire to be – the most beautiful expression of your being – while you dedicate yourselves to the many professions in this world. This can only be achieved by a true religion, but not a religion of fossilized truths and senseless ritual. The religion that will bring Urantia to the age of light and life will deposit the weight of salvation upon the shoulders of each individual. An authentic religion will recognize the unconditional love of God, the paternity of God for all the inhabitants of this world, and the equality of each person before the Universal Father.
“The time when priests and other representatives had to serve as intermediaries between the people and God should be replaced by a new era where each person will enjoy a personal relationship of friendship and affection with God. Then each person will be guided by the divine presence of God in their being – the Thought Adjuster – to become capable of manifesting the best of their personalities in everything they do. Only this way will this world progress towards a higher society that will produce permanent and constant improvements for the following generations. The human methods and systems will become goals of divine glory when men and women illuminated by spirit are put in charge of the destiny of this world. This is the goal for this planet and it will happen when each person is searching for the light in their hearts and establish the age of light and life in their own personal life.”

Subject: “Mortal Death – A Door to Eternity”.

The Beloved One: Do for a moment contemplate the impact written words can have. Consider how words can serve as a wake-up call to someone who, just at a critical moment in life, happens to read a certain message that finds lodgment in that soul, resulting in a marked change to that person’s life. Messages can enlarge perspective, give understanding and courage to carry on for yet another day.
These deciding moments are like a twist or turn in the road, and an unexpected vista then opens up before one’s eyes. Life is like this, and these moments are the cause and effect of a life-change, which can be for better or worse, yet both are experienced in the inner and outer life.
Such is life on this planet. It is the deciding life, during which a human may well start out seeking temporal wealth, success and pleasures only. It can also be switched in the blink of an eye, through such a deciding moment, that it makes one realize that there is more to life than outward things.
The material does not satisfy or feed the human spirit, and something unknown is felt to be missing in that life. In such deciding moments, the search for the meaning and purpose of life begins in earnest.
At that moment, the true life begins in the inner world, where true wealth is waiting to be discovered. The urge and search for inner wealth and treasures can only culminate in the finding of the Source of all this wealth.
This is the greatest journey any soul can embark upon, and where a final victory is ensured when that soul finds out that there are many more regions to be explored in the unending creation of the Creator.
The greatest deciding moment in this life is when you discover the God of your being, waiting within you and from that moment on, you lose all fear of death, because you know that life is eternal, and that mortal death serves as a door to eternity.

“If you are not right on the inside, it is useless to pray for that which is on the outside. ‘If I hear your prayers, it is because you come before me with a clean heart, free from falsehood and hypocrisy, with a soul which reflects truth like a mirror. If you would gain immortality, forsake the world and come to me.’” [UB 131:7.3]

Thought Adjuster: “Humankind will make a giant evolutionary leap forward once it gets to fully understand and utilize the mechanisms of empowered prayer, which involve the crucial elements of sincerity and receptivity.
Sincerity is the serum that delivers a booster shot to your prayers because it has everything to do with one of the supporting pillars of creation: truth. If you feel that you have to embellish your prayers to make them more palatable, you are mistaken. What matters is that they surge from a humble and thus receptive heart.
Therefore, receptivity is the other logical prerequisite for answered prayers. If you absent-mindedly or half-heartedly dispatch your petitions ‘out there,’ the chances are that they will get lost in cyberspace for lack of sufficient ‘love stamps’ or your negligence to provide a return address due to your lack of conviction.
If you have little faith in your prayers' manifestation power, is it because they are generic? Such boiler-plate types of prayers may fall short in intrinsic strengths because of their lack of originality. Personalize them with your unique touch—your energy signature—and they will reach their intended destination.
Your humility and sincerity will most certainly find an echo in the divine heart, as the Father answers the heart's attitude—not the symbolism of the spoken words or the dramatic fashion in which you deliver their script.
Prayer takes practice in honesty. Come clean with yourself, thus presenting a candid depiction of what you are all about—right here and right now. How else could you be guided moment by moment in a world where reality constantly fluctuates, presenting you with ever-renewed challenges and growth opportunities?
Remember that you are the one pre-approving prayer-induced turns of events, as the Father will never impinge on your free will. Do you have faith in your prayers? If not, don’t even bother. How could the Father act upon them without any show of conviction on your part?
Keep in mind that the prayers on the fast lane to be answered pertain to urgent needs—not just yours. Take the highest good of your cosmic family at heart, and it will magnify the outreach of your prayers.”

Andrea: “This is Andrea talking to you, J, through my human friend of many years. I know that you just recently subscribed to the 11:11 messages, so there is still much for you to learn as you have come from a non-religious background. In this short message — especially to you — there is only one thing of importance I want you to understand and keep in mind, always: God is with you.
“There is an important thing for you to always keep in mind. All that you see in the universe was and is being created by the One who reigns on Paradise and by those who received the creative power from Him. It is also important for you to realise that this Creator gives of Himself a Godly Fragment that indwells you. Talk to this Gift from God, so you will never be alone.
“Those of us, Angels and Midwayers, are the spiritual helpers of this planet and we know the difficulties you have so far overcome. Come to us and talk to us in your deepest despair and come to us and talk to us in joy. Come to us frequently in meditation and allow us to visit you in your dreams. Where we can we will assist you and we promise you will never again be alone.
“In your duties as a housewife and mother keep in mind that your three excel in many ways and will excel in many fields in time to come. Treasure their progress as much as you treasure them for themselves. Your pride in their achievements will be your great reward. Andrea: “Here we are my human brother, understudy, friend and loudspeaker, not just in idle chat … We are here with the task of a real, real, oh-so-real talk to be transcribed by you. A little later we get to the suffering of the young mother. For now we are making a comparison between this Primary Midwayer here on Urantia and what is known about me on Mansonia One and right onto Paradise.
“Of the millenia of service I have provided, little is known in this realm. There was Ionah and his immediate entourage who knew me by sight. The early, well-trained Delphian oracles knew my gentle touch. You and I, together with the Chief (ABC-22), had our adventures, yet few of our human kin, by now all with some slight degree of Adamite, Nodite and Andite blood know of me.
“It is well to say that Heaven knows, but at heart one needs acceptance, recognition and respect from one’s kin as well as the certainty that being in the service of the Creator of all is one’s guarantee of eternal life. And yes, with much more to learn, but in less of a struggle. So often we are compared to the angels. In what I’m telling you, I lay bare my humanness.”
George: “Long ago you told me, ‘I go to the East in ships with the others. I am also long active in Greece.’ It never ceases to amaze me how over the years those long-ago snippets about your life became a clearly understood mind-to-mind visual reality. There are many of the 11:11 Progress Group that are most grateful to you, completing some great tasks and sharing these with us all.”
Andrea: “It is essential — as you well learned early in your career — when it is hard to enthuse others, you must enthuse yourself and give it all you’ve got … look forward to your labors coming to fruition. And so it is with J (name suppressed), who feels life is on hold because of poverty and abuse. For you, under these difficult circumstances, it is appropriate to focus on your beloved children.
“Let them be dressed as well as you can afford them to be, so they will be well-presented. Teach them to be well-mannered, so they will easily feel at home in most circumstances. Show them your love and devotion, so they will not merely know the anger they see. Teach them to share and look after each other, so they will learn to care. Teach the three to know God and his angels will see to them.
“Take heart, child, it’s what you make of it. They are the women and mothers of this world who hold civilization in their hands. They are the women and mothers of this world who will deservedly extol the Correcting Time. May God bless them all.
