Be Ye Perfect Even As I Am Perfect.

A Thought Adjuster Speaks - # 260

10th April, 2004

Dear one, it takes the severest of self-discipline to walk the way of truth, beauty and goodness. It is a constant vigilance against the ego, not to get puffed up, and to always remain humble of heart.

This is the road of self-denial I would have you walk. I know that this sounds very severe, but it is a necessity in order for you to attain and keep a pure heart without entertaining any negative emotions such as anger, jealousy, resentment, impatience and the like. These are all mental poisons, which disturb the soul and prevent peace of mind.

Indeed, if you would want to grow in spirit-stature, then these things you need to be on the lookout for, as well as for negative thinking, for this, too, sours the spirit-life.

The Father in Heaven created His evolving children, but a little lower than the angels, and they do serve Him most selflessly, in joy and harmony, for they do not entertain any negativity.

I would have you rise higher even than the angels, and this you can do by your choices and decisions to overcome your shortcomings, animal instincts and impulses, and by replacing them with the noblest aspirations that are more befitting the sons and daughters of God.

The one command that went forth from heaven eons ago, and which still stands, is: ‘Be ye perfect even as I am perfect.’ Add thereto the two commands from Jesus, to love God above all things, and your neighbor as yourself.

This is the direction in which I desire you to go, if you would only come into the Stillness, so I can instruct you.
