Subject; “Towards the Attunement with the Spirit Within.”

Midwayer Thomas: “Communication with your Spirit Within is not an easy accomplishment. Urantians are rather dominated by the material energies — rather than the spiritual ones — due the incomplete upstepping of the first and second bestowals. Besides, the spiritual consciousness on your planet is still very low, although improved after Christ Michael’s Bestowal and the ample distribution of the Spirit of Truth and the Adjusters. Superior spiritual attunement is not only necessary for the satisfactory reception of your Adjuster’s leading as well as the putting in place of those conditions that may make possible the spiritual fusion with Him, even here on Urantia. Upon your request, I will mention three elements that can contribute to reaching this desirable readiness.”
1) Real Purity
“The main obstacle to attaining that communion with your Adjuster is the lack of spiritual commonness as the basis for a good communication. Your Spirit Within’s essence is a pure spirit from the highest quality (Father’s) that may be found in all universes. Your spirituality comes from His ministration to your soul (your morontia self) and from the steadfast determination of your Human Self doing the will of the Father. If your determination in doing the will of the Father is not dominant over your Self, your soul will not mature enough to receive and exercise spiritual control over your life. A spiritual craving for doing the will of God is the first and foremost requisite to actualize spiritual commonness with your Adjuster.”
2) Effective Stillness
“Stillness is that meditative state acquired by the effective subjugation of your thought activity. It helps you to control your thoughts activity by subduing them with spiritual focalization. You have several spiritual sources in and with you; therefore, stillness is your attempt to focus on these spiritual resources (especially the Adjuster) and receive from them spiritual nourishment. By constant practice, you may be able to experience not only that spiritual calmness but also open the spiritual channels that allow you to communicate with beings in extra-physical dimensions: midwayers, morontia teachers (even the spiritual ones), angels and other spirit beings. To some, stillness is easier than it is to others, due to practice as well as to better hereditary strains, that is, those from the Nodite Bestowal and from the Adamic Bestowal.”
3) Actual Implementation
“Consecration (resolve) to do the will of God is essential for a better communication with your Adjuster. But doing the will of God is not only a mental or psychological decision. When the Spirit Within conveys to you the realization of the will of the Father, you ought to do it — follow through. It’s terribly detrimental to your spiritual development to indulge yourself in good decisions and not follow them trough. Let your actions match the perfect leading of the Spirit Within. When this does not happen, the whole situation may become a grievous experience for your Adjuster, that is, to notice that His or Her efforts in spiritualizing you are not being taken seriously.
“Therefore my friend, here they are: three elements that will help you achieve better communication and communion with your Adjuster that lives within your mind. Interestingly, the Adjuster never stops communicating with you, always and ever sending out those leadings that portray to you the will of God. However, even His attempts to impress your consciousness through dreams and visions are most often distorted by your own thought interference. Stillness, supported by consecration and ready execution of the will of the Father will prove to be a better situation for you to realize and apply the spiritual leadings of your Spirit Within and, eventually, to obtain Adjuster attunement. I am your midwayer friend of long ago, Thomas, very happy to attend to your call.”

The Beloved: “Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for when your long dark winter of seeming barrenness is past, you shall bear spirit fruit as never before, but for My pruning.
God is the tree, and humankind makes up His branches. Therefore, they are His offspring. So, when the branch closes off its end by never paying Me any thought, it withers and dies.
Even now, you feel My ‘spirit-sap’ stirring in you as never before. It is your trust and faith in Me which has kept this lifeline strong, for there needs to be an opening and a willingness to receive. I cannot pour My life-giving sap into a closed off branch which is only possessed of itself.
Trust and faith in the eternal Giver of life are the channel openers. Therefore, the more you begin to live in a greater present centered awareness of the eternal Creator, the closer you live with Me, for I dwell within you.
It goes without saying that this is the sign of your connection with Me and because of My spirit-sap flowing into you, you shall bring forth leaves, buds and blossoms, and in due season bear much spirit fruit, for this is expected of you. It is your service returned to Me, because I desire that you bring forth much fruit, for the fruits are what pleases Me.
In order for you to bear much fruit, it becomes your task to see to it that the opening to Me remains clear, as I then give you the opportunity to grow your channel ever wider in order for you to attain greater receptivity. This is always, and in all manner of ways, reciprocal. God and mortal are developing an interactive working arrangement.
The more conscious you become of My laboring within you, the more joyous you will become. And although the stresses of material life are still present, they lessen in significance because you are firmly attached to the Tree of life.
Slowly I will remove all your doubts.”

Thought Adjuster: “Life on Planet Earth is often grueling to its population due to many shocking or hard-to-bear turns of events: loss of a loved one; physical, mental, or emotional illness; lack of financial resources; warfare, and a flurry of natural cataclysms.
When dealing with the dire consequences of such traumatic happenstances, many look heavenward and incredulously scream: “WHY?” They often shake an accusatory fist, which masks the silver lining of such apparent setbacks.
Those who genuinely desire to solve such existential questions will remain on the lookout for their forthcoming answers. Resolute truth finders leave none of the stones hurled in their path unturned to unearth precious gems of wisdom that would have never surfaced without this momentary shake-up.
Order emerges from pandemonium. Chaotic events point to the housekeeping you need to perform in your inner world after regaining a semblance of footing. Sift through the rubbles to salvage what you will repurpose as the cornerstone of your new life.
Psychology established various emotional stances involved in dealing with the grief generated by life’s hard knocks. What matters is that you do not stand still. After recovering from your initial state of shock and disbelief, return to one of love and faith. Love is the blanket answer to all questions. Find its point of entry in any given situation and follow its leadings, as they will never lead you astray.”

Teacher Ophelius: “Today, dear one, we would like to speak to you about the ‘Eye of the Storm’ and how to maintain your peace and sense of grounding when everything around you is in chaos and turmoil or in the midst of great change. It is in these times when you need to exercise your faith muscle and focus on what is most important. At any given moment and in any life lived on the planets of time, a time of great testing will come and many will be looking for someone to stand firm in the midst of the whirlwind and point the way forward. It is for you students on the path to be an example and a way shower that these storms of life can be an opportunity to build strength of character and to maintain your peaceful connection with spiritual forces that can help you navigate any situation.
“The practice of self-mastery becomes the key to anchoring your stance when others around you are caught up in the reactions to great stress and turmoil. It is the emotions of lower vibration — fear, worry and anxiety that become the ‘block’ that keeps you from seeing clearly. And so we admonish you to remember these words when the storms of life rage around you. Please know that even when you think you are left alone to deal with these uncomfortable situations, that you are given even greater attention by your guides and guardians who are waiting for you to engage them and ask for help to be sent in the way that is of the highest good — that the Will of the Father be done.
“Sometimes your impatience prevents you from seeing the highest good because the Father’s Will works with the conditions inherent in the fabric of creation to bring about the change needed to fulfill the desire which may or may not be in coherency with your expectations. Sometimes it is only seen in retrospect — after the storm has passed — that you see the brilliance of the divine signature in the outcome. Therefore in this ‘space’ between expectation and realization is where you need to exercise great faith in the assurance that all things work for the greater good — even if that good is harvested in the worlds to come — something that often is not considered.
“There are many perplexities and challenges to deal with on Urantia and many decisions to be made — more so than on most planets in the local universe. Urantia is unique in that it is the bestowal planet of the Creator Son — the jewel of 10 million worlds and there is no other place with such distinction in all Nebadon. Therefore, what shall you do with this opportunity to make the most of your life in one of the most contrasting and challenging training universities in the schools of the universe? Do you succumb to the pressures of the moment and join with those who are confused and lost or will you take a breath and seek for the light and approach these dilemmas with clarity and integrity and take the higher path that leads to a life well lived — in love, compassion, forgiveness and courage?
“Sometimes it is best when in the Eye of the Storm to project your view outside the whirlwind and be proactive to the reconstruction needed to heal a broken world. Go within, dear one, and seek for the solace of the Indwelling Spirit — surrender your fears and know that the I AM IS and always shall be your anchor in the Eye of the Storm.

Andrea: “It is here on ‘terra firma’ where, irrespective of your beliefs in oneness with all others and nature, you continue to deal with life and its daily incidences as an individual in a world of individuals. For us Primary Midwayers, and our Secondary Midwayer brothers and sisters, there is a long-ago established viewpoint that, at our spiritual Root Source, we simply remain each other, but for the opportune creation of space and time, or time in space, to give us another reality to experience until we arrive in timeless eternity.
“The concept of unity, of oneness, of being each other and seeing the self as part of a single time-space organism, may seem far-fetched to you – intent on providing for the self and immediate dependents. And yet, in dealing with angelic and other celestial beings, the oneness model is natural to us, perhaps largely because there never was any of your pressing need to provide for physical well-being. In time, during your mansion world sojourn and beyond, there will be a gradual diminishing of fear of shortage of both sustenance and needs.
“Such concerns of worldly origin of having enough, doing enough, and even being enough, will gradually lessen, and the concept of unity will come to the fore and be seen as ever more important – the true ways and the norm of the celestial universe, which will progressively eradicate the ways of the beast – these things presently important for physical survival. Much can be done in your preparing yourselves in readiness for celestial life. Listening to others not just with brain and mind, but heart and soul is one artful way to progress.
“For some, it is known, the contemplation of the reality of time, triggered by the seeming impossibility of déjà vu experiences, can bring greater understanding of spiritual realities. For yet others, the natural ability, or purposeful practice of intentful listening will nourish a wisdom and an appreciation of the feelings, indeed, the very soul, of your brothers and sisters, leaving you with a valuable and positive legacy beyond this life. Beyond terrestrial life you will have greatly enhanced senses. The art of listening will ready you for these.
“It is often suggested, although rarely by me so far, that your earth lives are short, and that in these ‘few hours’ much can be achieved by faith and persistence to pay great dividends in your hereafters.
