Thought Adjuster: “The entire creation is open to your study, and your spirit has the capacity for an ever more complete and unending understanding of the whole. This understanding is nothing more than the knowledge of the Father, for it is in God that the origin and destiny of all things are found; therefore, by discovering and appreciating the wonders of the universe, we also discover other aspects of the heavenly Father.
In the face of the prospects that open in eternal life, how can a human being remain bound to limited material desires and fragmented, illusion-filled points of view? It is true that for most of you, the familiar is always better than the unknown. Uncertainty fills you with fear, and leaving your “comfort zones” fills you with apprehension. However, these tendencies will be easily overcome once you have repeatedly experienced the fact that the universe is friendly and has been arranged to help you grow and achieve your eternal goals. This has been so by decree of the Father, who seeks only to express His love to all His creatures through His creation.
There is much you can begin to explore in this life if you live with faith and hope. One of the greatest mysteries in all creation is already hidden within you, and it is the presence of God in your being through the Thought Adjuster. There lies the mystery of how the Father can divide Himself without ceasing to be one, to share life and associate eternally with the lowest creatures of the universes: mortal beings. This is the mystery of how a mortal can become like God through his own decisions and actions, counting on the direct support of the Creator. It is the secret of how a being of time transcends its limitations and becomes eternal.
To begin this great adventure of exploration—something that will occupy most of your interest during your journey toward the personal presence of God—you need only learn to look within yourself. Open your mind and your heart and discover what has already been placed in you: your talents, your soul’s longings, your curiosity, your hope. All of this, coordinated by a mind accustomed to thinking independently, will open for you the doors of the kingdom and will guide you along the path toward your eternal goal.
And here is the reward of faith: when a human being discovers himself, he also discovers God and attains a more complete vision of the entire creation—its reasons, its purposes, and its destinies. Everything has been given to you to live a life of true spiritual success, a life that will draw you closer to your Father in heaven and offer you the real satisfactions experienced by those who love the truth and begin to discover it in their own experience. These transcendent lives are full of achievements that go far beyond life in this world and attain a happiness that very few mortals in this world have known—a happiness that does not depend on external material circumstances, but is a flame kindled from the deepest part of the human being, where the divine connects with the human to create a new and beautiful reality.”
